When it comes to the quality of my life now, and where I will spend eternity, I only have two choices.

Every war, every victory, every defeat, every struggle, every moment of peace, every moment of joy, every loss, and every tear of despair is rooted in these two choices.

They are:

1) am I going to choose my friends who only want the best for me or my enemy who wants only to destroy me?

2) who is going to be my God? Is it going to be the God who created me? Or, am I going to be my own God?

That’s it.

P.S. If you were God, would it make any sense whatsoever for you to create a rational being like man who would find greater happiness serving your enemy than he would serving you.
